Anastasia Savinova
Breaking down “authentic fragments and details of the architectural environment”, Anastasia Savinova explores the differences and similarities between places of habitation—capturing and collaging the faces of buildings in an effort to understand “the feeling of Place.” Savinova has shown her works in a number of institutions and fairs including Bildmuseet, Uppsala Art Museum, Sundsvalls Museum, Norbottens Museum, Ajtte museum, and Köttinspektionen in Sweden, Museum of Illustration and Modernity in Valencia, Spain, Nord Art in Germany, Gallery Heike Arndt in Berlin and Denmark, Affordable Art Fair, New York, and Art Market, San Francisco. She has held residencies at ArtLab Studio, Sweden; KH Messen, Norway, and Swedish Lapland AiR, Sweden.
